Hi everyone, New here so bare with me. I am playing morrowind again (I previously played then removed it from my comp because I finished). I am playing because I got the expansions now and want to build my character up before loading tribunal but I have a few questions for the expert players :D
1. I updated morrowind with the patch and now it seems that I can not move up in the thieves guild My attributes are way past what it says for my next level but when I go to any of the guild heads they say I need to do more jobs.....I am almost out of jobs for the guild I just have a few left from Jim.
2. Also I find that sometimes when I am jumping morrowind will shut down.
3. when I do update to tribunal will it automatically post my unfinished quests in the quest journal?
Well thanks a bunch and see ya

What position are you trying to get to in the Guild? If it's Master Theif, you need to finish all of Gentleman Jim Stacey's quests first.
2. Also I find that sometimes when I am jumping morrowind will shut down.
This happens a lot with me too. Does it happen when you jump anywhere? I've found that Morrowind tends to crash when you enter a new cell (interior or exterior) and if your speed is high there's a greater chance of it crashing.

Not sure. If you're talking about the improved Journal system, then I think it will, but I've personally never really bothered with the Journal. What goes around comes around. I usually start a quest and end up returning to it on accident a few days later through my travelling. Best to wait for someone else to answer that one though.

3. Yes. Have you already installed Tribunal? I'm guessing not. Here's some fun for ya: Depending on your computer speed, where you are in the game, and how many unfinished quests you have, the process of "parsing" your quests to the updated Journal can take as long as
90 minutes (seriously), so pack a sandwich.

I am currently a ringleader in the thieves guilg and my next level is mastermind...is that the highest? I can't remember from last time I played. I do agree with you Ryushiblade that it only happens when I am moving to a different cell also more because my acrobatica is at 100. Zaphod I do not know what PM's are so please explain. I was also wondering when a good time to load Tribunal...should I wait until I have becaome the highest in my guild and in the blades? also when I am done Tribunal can I also load bloodmoon or do I have to start over again?
Thanks for all you help and Have a great day!!

Sorry, sorry.
"PM" = (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/private.php?s=) Private Messages, a feature of vBulletin (the software that TTLG uses).
Bloodmoon and Tribunal can be run at the same time with the same character. You don't have to wait until your character is head of any guilds. But you shouldn't start Tribunal until you have at least a level 10 character...
The assassins that come after you every time you rest in Tribunal are tough, and shouldn't be attempted with a very low-level character.
Hm. Mastermind is only one level below Master Theif. I'd still try and carry one doing all the quests you can within the guild. If you do manage to finish up Jim Stacey's quests at your current rank, then you should automatically be made Master Theif. ... 'Should.'

I would suggest waiting to finish morrowind before installing tribunal or bloodmoon. Both expansions increase the frequency of crashes and increase load times. I'm not sure if its just my friends computers and mine... but from the people I've asked after getting an expansion, crashes happened alot more. But load times have always been long I guess...
