Originally posted by Tonamel Shadowthief, the only problem I have with your argument is that in an actual fight, you can tell how your opponent is doing. If Morrowind had Pain Skins, we wouldn't need health bars. Absolutely, if my two handed battle axe connected with some blokes head IRL, he'd at least be a bit stunned and off balance ;)

What is the difference between US and European versions anyway?
I remember the same confusion when I was trying to decide whether to patch my UK copy of Pool Of Radiance with the "US Patch". Then I found out that "US Patch" is Ubi Soft speak for "English version" and the "European patch" is for the localised versions of the game.
I've patched my UK copy of the game with the US patch and apart from the usual error messages about the plugins maybe not working, the game loaded just fine and was perfectly well behaved. So I'd say if you're playing the English version of the game feel free to patch with the US patch.

I wonder where we could get confirmation of this ?
My box is clearly marked "Morrowind UK". If what you are saying is true, I would expect it to say "Morrowind EN", but with these crazy yanks :p I guess you never know.
Hmmmm....

No more constant affect with the Robe of St. Regis. I sort of liked having a legal cheat but will be fun to go through the game without.

I just bought the game last night, and want to load the patch in it before I start playing the game, but the url doesn't work. Any suggestions?
