Tonamel - 3.5 megs. What's your email limit on attachments?

You misunderstand, it's not the download rates or anything like that. It's that my computer has no access to the internet from where it is in this house (which, I might add, is the only place my computer fits: Three rooms away from the computer with the 'net connection.) The broadband would just make it easier to do the whole multiple connection thing. (ONE computer on a 56k is bad enough!) Though I'm not sure if the family computer has an ethernet port. *checks* Hmm... don't see one. There goes the idea I had for my 50' Ethernet cable...

Thanks for posting the readme file Zaphod. Of course, since I have a European version I'll have to wait. But can you who have tried it clear a few basic questions up:
1) If you have the Myth No-CD exe (the one that does not require the CD) as I do, will you have to completely reinstall the game to get the patch to work (don't worry, I have the original game - I was using the No-CD merely to increase performance)? Or will I just be able to put the backups of the original Morrowind.exe and MorrowindLauncher.exe back in their place?
2) Does the patch performance equal the No-CD performance? Is it better/worse?
3) How do the difficulty options work exactly? The readme claims there are 200!? What do they affect?

Although I haven't yet tried the patch, I imagine the '200' settings are actually +100% through to -100%, where the percentage affects the damage you take and receive (so at a setting of 100, you'd take double damage and deal half damage).

European and US versions??
I have the US version (a Birthday present from a freind who went to America. My B'Day was 17 days ago BTW. 27 but I feel. . . 25).
I live in the UK though. It runs fine on my system (F'ing amazing visuals on only a GeFroce2 PRO!!).
So I need the US patch I guess. What is the difference between US and European versions anyway?
And that NPC/creature health bar sucks big time IMHO. I prefer not knowing.

If you know that he is vastly superior to you, you can go away and train more. If you are at a similar level you may get him if you try just a bit harder. Would save a lot of time as it takes me a while to load up on protection spells etc before each attack, so I'd rather give up after the first try rather than have to do it five times before realising he's just too hard to kill.

True, but then again if your fighting some one in real life there is not a little bar above their head that says how close you are to beating them. Ah well I dont like the whole health bar thing, kinda takes away from the suspense as you two fight it out.

Shadowthief, the only problem I have with your argument is that in an actual fight, you can tell how your opponent is doing. If Morrowind had Pain Skins, we wouldn't need health bars.

I have to say, I'm a bit miffed that they didn't fix the stolen items bug (the one where guards will confiscate all items of any type that you've ever stolen).
