Question #1: How the heck does a skeleton, much less a skeleton with a big metal sword and shield, swim???
Question #2: What do you do with a corpse when you 'remove' it, eat it or something???
Continue from here.

It's kind of tough to ask questions about skeletons without including "how do they make any noise at all, how can they stand upright, walk, see you, hear you, etc?"
But that's just me.

#3: How is it that everyone on the whole damn island knows it instantly when you've done something noteworthy or detestable? Where is the secret network of tomato cans and string hidden?
#4: How is it that Sleepers and pilgrims and lost schmucks can wander around the countryside and not get mauled by all the local fauna, but they all come after me?

q1(along with Zaphod's first post): Re-animated skeletons are the skeletons you are refering to. They are magicaly imbued creatures made to do their master's bidding. Naturally because of these magics they can do things inanimate objects can't.... Oh, and a shield also acts as a flotation device in case of emergency.
q2: You donate it to: Neighboring birds/hyenas, medical research, your next few suppers.
q3: They are all on aol instant messenger when you're not looking.
q4: Possesed people smell funny, pilgrims never bathe, and shmucks are super scary to the average 'fauna'.

q5: Where the hell is my dragons?

q6: Why doesn’t shopkeepers, homeowners etc get annoyed or suspicious when a complete stranger walks around their house with a lock pick in hand?

Q7- Why do little windows occasionally enter my field of vision containing information on the magical powers I possess, the numerical level of my exhaustion, and the five hundred some-odd pounds of metal and glass that I'm carrying?
Q8- Why does said quarter-tonne burden not cause a bulge in my pants?
Q9- What's this thread even for, anyway?

Get a friggin grip. Threads like this have existed for Thief, Deus Ex, almost all the games listed on the ttlg forums.
Even if Bethesda were paying you to try to shout out any perceived criticism on internet message boards, you have no right to try to shut down discussions and call threads to be removed etc, just because people have opinions on the game at variance to yours. If you don't like the thread - don't read it.
Now I'd love to add another nitpicking thing but, since I haven't played the game, I won't. ;)

q10: Do cliff racers never, ever land their whole lives? I mean, the poor things don't even have feet!
q11: Why must a slave's manacle be removed before they can run away? It's not like it's chained to anything. Maybe it's one of those wireless dog collars that shocks them if they get too far away.
q12: why do lockpicks have a weight if 0.1 or 0.2, but keys are weightless? And for that matter, I can carry a whole roomful of gold coins without gaining an ounce.

The problem with high fantasy settings is, all of these questions have one answer: it's magic. Of course, if this was a futuristic sci-fi game, it would all be explained as nanotech instead.
Anyway, don't take this so seriously folks. It's all in good fun. Games are not perfect simulations of real life, but that's why we like them.

Hey, orgy, someone here' s overreacting and its not me...
I'm just making the same point entropy does... not to take this stuff too seriously.
Of course, if there's something that just has to be changed, you can always use the editor...
And finally, my criticism of certain threads stems less from a difference of opinion than from my own opinion that, at some point, all meaningful discussion has ceased and the thread itself has become tiresome; an opinion I have every right to possess and share.
Why, might I add, to you patrol forums for games you don't own?
Kilana on 16/6/2002 at 21:51
Just because orgy doesn't own the game doesn't mean he doesn't have anything to add. So far, orgy has just presented intelligent comments and ideas.
