Although I can't seem to get the Construction Kit to work on my PC, I had (what I thought was) an interesting idea for a Morrowind Mod: How about remaking Blood Omen as a First Person RPG? For the most part, you wouldn't even really need to alter the models and system of the actual game. Weaponry and spells could work exactly the same. Anyone else think it's a worthwhile endeavor?

Hrm... yes and no; most functions could work I suppose, but at the same time good luck w/ Moebius's time-twisting; you'd have to teleport the player to another location for the "back in time" effect, and the illusion would be ruined the moment they looked at the map.
A few other things... while it'd easily be possible to make walking on water hurt the player (just copy the lava's code), most boss battles (eg: the Nature boss' "land to water" effect) would have to be adapted somehow.
Last but not least, you're talking a massive amount of custom objects that would need to be created (the broken & fixed Pillars, the dark gothic architecture & furniture, etc.) that I'm not at all certain amateur designers can do justice to.
Overall, sure it's possible, but I wouldn't envy anyone working on it ;)
(and y'know, I played that ~5-6 years ago... scary how fresh the memories are)

I'm, uh... a bit "obsessive" with BO, if you couldn't tell. :p
Some very valid points. Perhaps I should file it away under my "Ideas" folder until I get a little better at modeling.
