The Arctic Monkeys are sure great but lack the grandeur of the Moz. Oh well they're young and angry and I love them for that. All I can say is, that when I grow up to his age I will count myself lucky to become half the man Morrissey is.
Bust kettle honking ever-mincing nonce? I wish you the worst of luck in your project. One's enough.
He's written some great songs for himself to ruin with that gooselike honk of his, but his wit and wisdom of yore is here nowhere to be found.

.
If you don't mind my asking, what the hell does that mean? I actually did a search for that and google turns up this forum entry only.
About Morrissey, I watched the 2 clips posted and I must admit...I don't get it.
His music seems bland and boring, nothing there really.
I really don't understand Kolya wishing to be half the man he is, tbh morrisey
reminds me of George Micheals a bit. To each his own I guess.

Morrissey has, at least in some recent songs, displayed evidence of having lost... something that he once had.
Whilst he used to rail against the world and himself, his latest songs offer little more than "well, you know who I am by now" to increasingly uninspired sub-grunge riffless riffing. He used to offer us his unique perspective on certain things - now he just stands up and says "I'm Morrissey!!!!", and increasingly "I'm Morrissey and I'm more comfortable with myself than ever thank you very much!"
Musically and lyrically this is nothing at all interesting, and liking it is akin to supporting a football team at every one of their matches - grounds for liking this song have become pretty much the same as recognising that it is a song by Morrissey.
Isn't it ironic, don't you think?

It's not just the music, which I like, but I like lots of music. He sells the whole package you see. If you tick a little different than the rest, not necessarily gay, just a bit different, and you got attacked enough for it, and you're still unable to conform, you get to appreciate to see someone, who's been through this all and taken it with style and a smile, and is not just standing, but on top of all the oh-so-very-normal haters, where he belongs.
Didn't get the bust kettle thing either.

I've always liked him, always will. Yes, he isn't as popular as he was. He's still around, I'll still check out what he does, his voice is a bit deeper, not much, aging will do that. That video was a bit kitchy as I call it. I'd listen to it again. He's aging, just like the rest of us. "All I need is him", and he's such a Charming Man. :p
Why do we hate being on page 2. ¬¬

At least he knows what he wants to be when he grows up :joke:
I liked the music, however the shots of him and his band walking... 'Seemed a bit dry, they could have made it a bit more interesting.
