Hating Morrissey is such a snooze-fest... he has attracted exactly the same criticism for around 30 years and has yet to give even the slightest signs of giving a shit. Thanks for posting Koyla, I hadn't seen the vid to this yet.
Arctic Monkeys are fair, and definitely get bonus points for working with Owen Pallett on their side projects, but like Koyla said, they dont have Morrissey's style. Maybe give em a few more decades. Neil Hannon from the Divine Comedy and Stephin Merritt from Magnetic Fields are closer to Morrissey's arch schtick.

So does he have a new album coming out or what? The only Morrissey album I've listened to is "You are the Quarry". I thought it was damn good and I really have no idea why I haven't listened to his other stuff yet. Any recommendations on where I should start?
I'm not too crazy about The Smiths btw.
