I just went back to Suran to get the Hlaalu councillor's there (something Eles, IIRC) vote for Hlaalu hortator. I've been there before but failed to find a key to free the slaves. I tried again to find the key, nothing. Where is it? Is there one?

You mean Nevena Ules' plantation, I think....I too have scoured her house, and tried killing all the non-slaves in the area to see if one of them had the key, but nothing turned up....looks like you can't free these slaves either. Annoying, isn't it? :erg:
