A couple of questions:
1. How high does lockpicking have to be to actual really do anything? Currently I've got it at 55 and I can't open 99% of the stuff I come across. Is the lockpicking skill a waste of time?
2. Also how do you disable traps? Do you use the same set of tools as for lockpicking?
And a tech question
1. Wall, floor and ceiling textures when viewed from a certain distance (far away is fine as is up close) look a little blurry. As if there are two of same textures on top of each other but not quite lined up correctly. I've checked around and there doesn't seem to be a fix or even many people who have the same problem but I thought I'd give it a shot in here.
Very good game so far though

Lockpicking is something I never tried because you really need to put a major investment into Technical before you can start opening locks (You're looking at about 70+). That said, not all locks in the game have keys, so some can only be opened by lockpicking.
Be careful what you invest points in, though. There are only 10 levels of experice you can gain (And you're going to have to finish every quest and kill evey monster to get that high) so you're only going to be able to max a couple of skills. Choose what type of character you want to be (Fighter, Mage or Thief) then spend your points appropriately. If you branch out too much you'll be too weak at the end of the game.
