I'm not one to celebrate the death of any human being, but I sure as hell won't be mourning this asshole.

That ain't treason - that's closer to asking for an amendment to the constitution. A very bad one, but perfectly legal.
Oh... I initially thought that violating one of the founding principles of this nation would be considered treason, but I'll take your word for it, as I'm nowhere near certain on this.

How did he "violate" it? That amendment applies to the government, and, last time I checked, Falwell wasn't in it.
Also, that being treason would certainly cause passing an unconstitutional law to be treason as well. Wonder what the results of THAT would be.

Ko0k, I certainly wouldn't tell anyone who was personally close to Falwell (his friend, family member or somesuch) not to mourn him, but I didn't realise TTKetc. was one of them.
WTF?
As much as I find pissing on the dead somewhat unsavory, I hold little love towards this man. I find many of the things he did and said during his lifetime undesirable to say the least.
In short, my initial statement held no sarcasm. I truly love the savage nature of this place, although I think the dead deserve a moment of respect before we start discussing what a complete and total dicks they may have been. :ebil:

In most relatively free nations, that is called 'political discourse'.

Highly productive. Ah, well, I'm still waiting for Bush to be held accountable for grossly and deliberately violating the constitution and thereby his oath of office - and bragging about it.

Shit, i was used to using "Loz em gein in dem uretz" as a suffix. Now I gotta find a new one.

Hm. Just as Hitler preached that it was okay to hate in the name of Aryan pride, Falwell preached that it was okay to hate in the name of god.
