Search this forum for 'mudcrab'. The talking mudcrab merchant (yes, really!) is not too far from Vivec and has 10000 gold. He'll only buy wapons and armour.

i would suggest Creeper in Caldera, his in the orch-manor...next to the smith...he has 5000 g.

do this:
if your character can kill fairly easy then go kill an ordinator and take his cuirass (or steal the one from the ordinator barracks). next go to the creeper. sell and then buy something worth 2000 gold (i beleive indoril boots are 2000). he now has 7000. sell him the cuirass. wait 24 hours then buy back the cuirass. he now has 12000. as long as you have enough money to buy back and everything you should be able to sell high priced treasure fairly quickly without having to seek the blasted mudcrab

Just learn to barter correctly with everything and you'll make a ton of money, albeit a bit slowly. For example, with Creeper always exchange all items under 5k gold for multiple items in Creeper's inventory worth less than 5k (which you'll have to sell him first...as was said, Indoril items or ebony armour pieces are very good for this), and then sell back to Creeper at 24 hour intervals all the items he gave you for your very expensive item.
ie: Daedric Katana, worth about 40k, can be exchanged for a few sets of ebony bracers, pauldrons, helmets, which you then sell back to Creeper individually.

I've never ever dealt with creeper or mudcrab, and in one of my games I have 300k. Balmora is great for a good barterer, Wayn in the fighters guild has 2k, the enchanter in the mages guild has 900, Meldor has 1.5k, the outfitter has 800, and the razor hole guy has 1k. Enough to make you rich if you trade well. There's even a few more shops around to sell at, and the alchemist has 2k.
