If you want another idea to make money, go into a shop and pick a fight with the owner. make sure the owner is pretty weak. like a clothing shop person. after their dead you can steal all their stuff without anyone looking, break into the closed doors and closets, and the best part is you can come back tomorrow and the stuff on the shelves will be restocked for you to go out and sell. i did this to the fine clothier person in balmora.

Acquire two lesser soul gems, acquire 2 bull netch souls.
Sell to creeper.
Acquire greater soul gems, raid tombs/summon something (preferrable daedra, scamps and atronach's), acquire their souls.
Sell to creeper (buy back the Bull Netch Soul Gems to get the full 6000+ value of powerful greatersoul gems, then resell them back to creeper the naxt day to get the 1000+ in gold)
Repeat as necessary.
It's legitimate and it makes you wealthy while improving your skills.:cheeky:
just a question, are empty soul gems limited?

There are numerous crates and chests containing soulgems, and by killing bonelords you often aqcuire lesser or common soulgems. I don't know if there are monsters that drop great soulgems, but the gems you can find in crates (mostly in dungeons) should be enough.
There's a dirty trick to immediately refill crates containing random items: Just take out what you want, then press escape (without getting out of your inventory) and save your game. Now exit the programm at once and restart. Now if you reload your savegame, the crate is restocked. This way you don't have to worry about running out of soulgems ;)
