Dollars to peso's you can get it tomorrow if you shop around the walmarts in your area.
They're like me, they're untouchable. They don't give a shit because they're so big and grand no one can say anything to them.

Except that it hasn't nearly shipped yet.

Heh... my contact in gamestop had it earlier this week, don't be silly. They have it, it's just a matter of when they put it on the shelves.

Tuco may actually be right. I've heard of a few other places (though, granted, I only heard this from strangers) which already have the game but are unable to put them on shelf.

Well, there's no way they could get them out on release day without having a stock beforehand.

short of, you know, opening the box and setting it on the shelf......

I think Scumble is saying they need to ensure they have stock to put on the shelf. Relying on getting the shipment a day, or even two days, before release would be cutting it rather close.
If I worked in EBgames, I would steal a copy, even if it got me fired.

For those wondering, the best place to catch the newest countdown videos for Oblivion is (
http://www.gamershell.com) GamersHell.com. The mirror isn't put on Bethesda's page, so it doesn't get overloaded. While everyone else waits half an hour to get their video, I get mine in two minutes. Very cool.
