Well I finally got sick and tired at the rather awful looking face textures and decided I'd download a few plugins...well I'm not sure how I can modify my existing character to use new appearence...any suggestions?

I have a few new face plugins running, and the standard way to change your existing character's face is to open up the console whilst in game, then type in
enableracemenu
and you will be taken to the character gen screen and from there can choose your new face. Assuming you've already loaded up the plugins, of course :)
Hope this helps.....you're right about the horrible ugly faces by the way :)

When did they start work on Morrowind? 1997-1998? Player faces must be the original from back then.

Have you checked out Rhedd and Allie's website? They make incredible looking heads for Morrowind. Far superior to the existing ones......

Note: The cel-shaded look comes from using the diffusion filter in PS, really makes it look a gazillion times better (no pixelation).
