I downloaded and installed MA 5- which was supposed to contain the previous MA episodes, too, at least so I understood from the blurb.
Now, the only quests I have been given are the Dungeon in Pelagiad one, and the B's package. But one day I was wandering around Gnaar Mok (I think) and someone told me about a 'horrible event'- so I followed it up, got the note and the interesting artifact, and attempted to deliver it to the woman in Caldera, but there was no topic for it in her dialogue box. What to do?

The only thing I can think of is to make sure the 5th issue of the MA is released and make sure you read it. This will add the topic correctly.
