I recently completed a mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl. Lots of scripting, xml, ltx that sort of thing. I'm interested in modding SS2 but I need a resource and some idea of where to start, how much of the game is mod'able? Could I, for example, create a bigger inventory (more spaces on the grid) and change the grid sizes of some of the items? The standard pistol for example to occupy 2x1 slots instead of 3x1. Also, when you drop weapons they're huge, like the Field Generator which looks massive when you drop it but takes up a small space in the inventory...I'm talking about 3D modelling here.
The first thing I'd like to do is make a new inventory window of 6x15 so you can carry more stuff.

The items in SS2's inventory are sized the way they are for gameplay reasons, not realism. The inventory size is probably the least thing to need modification in the game.
Anyway, have a bunch (

If you're looking to help I have a high res weapon that needs texturing. I'd be eternally grateful if you could help me with that.

Prepare for disappointment.
