Call me cranky cane, but I do not want to have my model in a pack with art-assets from another game,
Nor do I want it to be altered in any way.
I would've been pretty fine with having it in its unaltered state in any model-pack, but in this case with these reasons I'll have to ask you to remove it.
EDIT: The wrench might or might not be a part of this pack, but the other point is still valid.

Eldron: Does that mean I have to remove it from my install? :P
Arcaniac: Regarding this, will you maintain compatibility so that we can just drop-in Eldron's amp as a seperate install without the files not being named incorrectly or anything like that? I'd like to be able to still use it.
Arcaniac SS2 Redux Bug/Glitch/Inconsistency Tracking and Commentary/Critique:
First keycard-locked door room locks you in. I can't get back out the first door to look for the card, and I can't seem to find the card in the room I'm now stuck in. I've tried jumping through the window, but to no avail. It breaks, but I can't fit. Also, this room I'm stuck in seems to have some bad lighting. There are light seams on the walls. [Later on: Noticing that this is common elsewhere. Did you objcast re-light all the levels?]
Restarted. Found the card and progressed. Loving the corpses so far. The texturing is great. The poses could use a little work. Good polishing -- the science tube thing is now no longer blocking the broken exit into the rest of Med/Sci. Nice security crate -- encouraging the wrench exploit, eh?
Loving the "protection fault" flatscreen with the wall bracket thing. I think an actual BSOD shot would be more atmospheric, but it's a good reproduction nonetheless. (Better yet, set up custom command prompt colors and ASCII-art something together. Hell, I may do it myself and send it to you. Remind me.) Any chance at getting a model that has a base that the screen sits on -- mounts from the back, but the rods sit on the base? That way you don't have to have a wall, and it does seem these things sit primarily at desks... That way maybe Sanger could have one in her office at her desk. Haven't been there yet, maybe you arranged things differently. Anyway, having something different for multi-monitor setups would be cool.
I love the doors and how well this all works with SHTUP. Seems seamless.
Corpse poses are way too uniform. They could do with some tweaking. If they were a little flatter to the ground, it would de-emphasize the uniformity of the mangling. They all have the same broken right foot and left wrist. It'd be cool if there were one corpse mangled a certain way, but most of them should probably be just flat down on the ground, perhaps with heads turned so they don't look like they're merging with the floor. It looks a bit like rigor mortis is holding them up, but rigor mortis isn't instant. Someone please tweak the poses.
Noticed on the cryo ghost (the first ghost ever): He holds his shoulders really high and his arms don't relax down by his sides even when it is apparent that that is what he should be doing. He's shrugging, though.
Ooh, a corpse in plain clothes. Bonus points.
I like the morgue drawers. The closed ones let me search the front plate object itself, which shouldn't really work, since the drawers themselves aren't open like the other ones. The rotating object graphic for what I'm searching shows me the front plate of the drawer, not a full drawer as one would expect. Minor issue.
Is it just me, or do the male corpses have a touch of Robin Williams to them?
Finding a female security corpse, I notice that she is not very feminine. Either the armor is giving her a very broad chested look (don't use that excuse, slacker :P), or she needs hips. I can understand trying to get away from Rebirth style female proportions, but yeesh. :P Also, either her back arches, or she has some very low-mounted breasts or her armor is interfering.
Watching the male replicator security ghost walk, I notice he has a bit of a gorilla thing going. He walks with his palms facing back, arms swinging straight. He'd look better with a slight bend in the elbows and his palms facing inward, fingers relaxed. I don't suppose Dark allows individual digit control or anything like that, but maybe the models themselves could be tweaked?
I'm noticing as I swing my wrench that I have a major case of fag-wrist. Well, I DID pick Navy... (fun fact: incidence of homosexuality in the US Military is ACTUALLY highest in the Marines)
The fingers seem a little too relaxed around the pistol, and the pistol seems to be held a bit too far out. It'd be a deviation, but I think it'd look mighty cool if the pistol were all matte black, and the yellow Trioptimum stamp were somewhere higher up and more forward on the slide. I also think a shorter overall look to it would be more fitting, but these are just suggestions based on the atmosphere I get from the game. If you can find pictures of a Hi-Point .40, that's what I'm imagining as far as bulk and proportions go.
I'm thinking so far the biggest and best thing this mod offers is the sheer graphical variety. Even with low-poly modeling and lowish resolution texturing, the variety of it would still be a huge benefit. I've often wondered if high-poly/resolution works that well with SS2, but I guess as long as poly-count and texture resolution are fairly consistent, higher will be better in most cases.
In one of the monkey cages, the monkey is invisible except for where his hand is sticking out.
Haha. The "Where'd everybody go? Is this some kind of joke?" ghost is a HELL of a dancer! The motions could use some polishing. In the room with the bed and the lab-coated corpse, there's a "fusion welder operating" sign, but I don't see anywhere such a thing could happen. I know some of these things are oddities from original SS2.
That's it for now. About to enter the Deck 2 crew section.

I'd like to use only the new body models for the enemies and corpses. No new weapon models, no Dr. Pepper, no new sounds or level mods. How do I go about this, or would you be able to offer a bodies_only release?

Ultraviolet, the one kolya has linked is much more recent and has alot of materialsettings and texture-fixes that went missing in this one.
Ambient lighting, glow-in-the-dark light, and an overall better placement.
It just replaces the psiamp-model so it should as far as I know work fine together with arcaniacs or any other persons mods.
Kolya, thank you.

doctorfrog, to make it an enemies only mod, download the mod, extract it, delete everything but the "mesh" folder. Place the mesh folder in your mod ready SS2 directory.
Or alternatively: Zip it up and change the extension to .ss2mod to use with the modmanager.

The closet is locked for a reason... when/if I finish the mod I had planned for that closet to stay locked until you find the code on another deck to unlock it and get a plot critical item. Right now, I think that the code is unchanged from what it was originally - all I did was remove the hackable part... that is, if you are refering to the closet I'm thinking of...
If you are referring to the closet of the security station - which was turned into an office for a new character that hasn't been added yet - then the code is all 0s I think (might be something else... but its all the same number IIRC - haven't looked at it in dromed in quite a while)
I tried all 0's and that didn't work. The pad I'm referring to is the one that used to be a storage closet in the original game (when you leave cryo room with the upgrade stations, office to your left where a hybrid comes out of).

Anyway, I actually am working on an update that is almost finished (wasn't expecting to be able to work on it, but I found some time :) )... it properly replaces the shodan avatars (somehow the GerMANY shodan avatar accidentally got included in the original release), goes back and redoes the weapons again (I wasn't happy with them)... this time with a nifty feature where you can follow included instructions to customize your arms (male, female, black, white, different clothes, etc... there is of course a default so that those who want to just unzip and run can do so). Also redid the multiplayer models. Right now I'm working on replacing a few world objects... I was going to do the spiders, but they frustratingly crash Milkshape 3d everytime I load the spidey7.3ds file. As previously stated, this update will be released as a patch so that dial-uppers don't have to re-download the whole thing.

I hate to be a pain in the ass, but what's the ETA on the patch? I'd settle for a rough estimate, factoring in any RLO's (Real Life Obligations).
P.S. Thank you very much for the mod. Not exactly RTTUNN or Ponterbee, but it makes the original feel more alive (especially with a dose of SHTUP).

Is there anywhere with screenies of the mod?

You're such a paragon of virtue!
I just got the pack and I love it. The corpses are downright gastly, especially the fist scientist who hanged himself and the female scientist just before the one who got a shotgun slug in her back. The shotgun is just amazing looking, and I'm only on Medsci yet. Good show!
