I just got a cheap new Nokia C5 phone - and realised today that while it has Facebook and GPS functionality, it doesn't have a countdown timer nor does it have a stopwatch.
I'm pretty new to the wonderful world of mobile phone software, and a quick Google search didn't help me all that much because I found it fairly difficult to distinguish between good and bad software.
Any tips on good apps for this purpose? Freeware would obviously be best.
Thanks! :D

hmm don't know a lot about phones myself but this review of your phone seems to state that it has it:

As you say, my really old nokia has those features and i would think it strange they'd remove them, so perhaps you just haven't discovered where they're hidden yet? as phones can be such mazes.

It's possible that the functions are hidden somewhere, and I also found those reviews that listed the features - but then I also found reviews saying that these functions were gone. The latter were usually in German, so I'm wondering if it's possible that the features list of the phone in German speaking countries is slightly different. It'd be weird, yes, but even an extensive search hasn't revealed the countdown timer and stopwatch.

Hmm, that's odd and difficult then. I guess you would be best asking on some phone community / nokia unnofficial community forums. Might even have to jailbreak your phone to get them or maybe you can just add them.
Sorry that i can't be of more help but i don't really know much about phones either.
