Thanks for the summarisation of your findings. :)
One question. When you use the entry method do you see the restrictions that you have in your mission?

Yes, if make some changes to DifficultyInfo file there (see tut).

Call me blind :) but i can't see that bit of info. You changed the DifficultInfo in the entry map to the same settings as in your mission? Otherwise it does not work for me.

I have some problems with registering at the Wiki :(
What problem are you having? Does it not like your username?
d'Spair on 4/3/2005 at 23:36
sk2k - yes, there have to be the same settings. Those settings determine the text of the objectives and restrictions when the game begins.
Scumble - unfortunately, it writes something about nickname that is not Wiki-formatted of something...

I thought Dave had sorted that out. Even so, DeSpair would work - and most people would know it was you. At least you'd be able to work on your tutorial in a more permanent place.

Very good work, d'Spair. I really appreciate the tutorial, all of the tutorials that are in this forum turned me from a complete noob to being able to make a passing good map. :thumb:
But I have one problem with your walkthrough, and I think it may just be my ignorance showing. I ran through section 2.2 multiple times and still get the same result - as I start the mission from t3.exe I open the Goals section and see three boxes under "Objectives" and two boxes under "Notes". Just the boxes with no text. Did I miss something in a text file? I followed your notes precisely three times. I think the conversation works somewhat because I have the three objectives' bullets and, I guess, the hidden one is there to be activated later.
So, don't know what's wrong. If you have any ideas please let me know. Thanks again for the great tutorial (so far :p )

!!!!!!!!!
Ridiculous! I have EXACTLY the same problem when I'm trying to run my mission on a fresh install - just empty boxes with no text! Right now I have no idea what's causing trouble and going to work on that. A HUGE thanks for that info, now I know where I have to look for the bug!

First congratulations to this great work d'Spair :thumb:

I see just "Book Bank not found"...
(I did what you said for examlpe Bank.sch in the Briefings folder)
So what i do wrong?
