Nah Kolya, that isn't it. The cutscenes came packaged in the same folder, which is why this is such a strange issue. I guess it isn't THAT bad, though, considering all the other cutscenes work, and I lived without them before. But I'm so damn close to finally getting the game working 100%. lol
