Does anyone know what causes a floor to disappear, leaving you with a "Death Hole" ?...it actually shows the sky but don't walk on it...I've had this problem on walls also...just seems they don't render correctly after adding another brush. They never seem to come back even after aligning BSP Brushes
Is this a common problem?
Thanks

BSP holes again! Evil little things.
I see you mentioned that you aligned your brushes. I assume that means you snapped them to the grid. In that case, are you using any weird angles? T3Ed doesn't like anything odd. Pitches of 1 to 1 (45 degrees), 2 to 1 and maybe 3 to 1 work okay. If you get any angles with proportions too deviate, you'll get the holes.

Some things that I have learned to do that lower the number of BSP holes:
Use intersect and deintersect (and I always forget which I need for adding and which for subtracting)
Use the clipping tool. Apparently making a 4 sided shape into a 3 sided shape by putting points on the same line is a bad thing.
With oddly shaped pieces, you might have to click each vertex to make sure it is on the grid. Also, try not to make things too complex in the first place.
