After I installed this, I can't lockpick doors anymore. I know the hud was removed, but it just freezes the game for a few seconds... and then Garrett starts moving again.
[EDIT] BTW, I don't have any lockpicks in my inventory at all.

There are no lockpicks in the inventory (and I think there shouldn't be), but if I click on Garrett in the 'Gear' window, the lockpicks are there.

This sounds like the usual Vista or Dual Core issue with locks and ladders. Nothing special about the MP. Try out (de)activating V-Sync.

Done that, didn't help. The CPU affinity is set to CPU0. Ladders work perfectly regardless of the V-Sync setting. Lock picks do not work regardless of V-Sync setting (both in the game and in the driver control panel).

Do you have any gamepads, a wireless mouse or some freaky keyboard? That was mentioned as being a reason for bugs in TDS as well.

That's what I used during the development of The Minimalist Project, so that shouldn't be an issue. It has been years since I've done anything Thief 3 related, so I'm not going to be of much help. Sorry.

Fixed the problem. It went away by forcing VSync in the graphic card driver and turning VSync off in the game menu.
