Something I haven't seen on the boards yet (granted I've only been reading on a regular basis for little more than half a year) is any comments about the awsome minigames in SS1/2. A lot of the time, I only boot up my computer so I can have a good ol' game of "Eel Zapper" or "Odd World". I absolutely love Odd World, I often just start the game, run into the training areas, do the uber cheat, spawn a game pig and hack it, then play for an hour or more. Plus, I actually got about 1/4 to 1/3 of the way up the high score list for eel zapper.
So what's your favourite minigame from the series, and if you've got any stories about the hazzards of playing games while zombies, mutants and cyborgs are trying to kill or assimilate you (I know I've had to fight off a SEC-2 bot while trying to defend muy little 8 pixel swimers from the evil eel's), please share.

This has been discussed quite a few times. :)
I never got into the minigames, I just throw away the gamepig if I accidentally equip it. I find it more fun playing the regular game. :erm:

You suck. Even more so than people who put "FTW" in their thread titles... if that's even possible.

Yeah, it's a shame people have different opinions than you.

You should be ashamed. :nono:

This is something I can't control, just like I didn't choose to be born visually impaired. Sorry guys. :erm:
As a side note I did play the gamepig on my first few runthroughs, but I just lost the interest over time.

WTF? I never played these games either. They add to the atmosphere but spending hours with Overworld Zero is beyond my nerd-level. At least as long as there is a ship to explore.

I was kidding of course..
Anywho, SwineHunter FTW! LolZ!!1

At this point, exploring isn't a part of SS1 or 2 for me. I pretty much know every part of them (though I do sometimes stumble across a part of the ship that I forgot was there). There's probably 1 or 2 things out there that I've missed (well, SS1 I highly doubt, now reading the raw level data and understanding just in pure hexadecimal, so I guess that nerd comment is well justified). So Overworld Zero is a nice new thing to explore, and trying to get to incredibly high levels while avoiding dragons is actually quite difficult sometimes.

Mmm.. Slimes and headless camps always seemed to be my downfall.
