yes i also get ocasionally these mini-freezes while exploring the outside world, maybe the game is loading what´s coming foward, maybe this happens only the first time you explore a new area, and i hope so, don´t want to play the whole game with 4 or 5 freezes per hour in the same areas i´ve been already, but luckly this mini freezes don´t happen inside dungeons and other buildings.
I hope bethesda brings up a patch to fix this issue...

The original exe doesn't even run Steam. So Steam can fuck off. And even if you run the game through the launcher and thus Steam, all that will happen is that it will update the game again.

Well, if I'm not going to run Steam anyway I might as well go back to the Razor1911 release + ENBSeries. Which I'm planning to do if I won't find a solution by tommorow.

I found it extremely funny that the original TES5.exe didn't run on Steam and the internets was very happy about that. Aside from fixing actual problems, Bethesda made it priority number 1 to patch that out as soon as possible. :D

Yeah simply overwrite the "patched" exe with the original, unpatched (no crack needed), apply the memory fix and ENBSeries and stop launching it from Steam from now.
That was a seriously dick move, I can't believe how quickly people adapt to inconvenience, especially as it didn't need any fixing.

2.01 is out on PS3, hope it fixes the issue when it hits the PC(or ENB will make another fix that works for me).

This is why Steam's forced autoupdates suck.
You aren't forced to download updates. By default Steam will keep each game up to date automatically, but this can be easily disabled.

That would probably get me banned from Steam.
No.

Yes, you are. No, it can't. It used to be that Steam "only" forced you to download the most recent update upon installation, and then you could turn off further updates, but it's no longer so.
Now, the option only disables downloads starting upon running Steam, but they'll start when you try to run the game. The only option to avoid updates is by running offline mode, but that only works until you want to install another game.

Those sons of bitches. Offering you the latest updated version of a game you bought two years ago when you get the urge to download it again. The hell are they thinking?
