Wow. I seem to have started something.....

The USA and, I believe, Canada are the only 'big' countries that don't use it for pretty much everything.
Really? Interesting.
Okay, if you like it better this way, that's cool. I can adjust. I'm not going to be switching to 24 hour clocks anytime soon, though. Thanks!

Yep - first it's conversion to military time; then before you know it we'll be expected to convert from the U.S. standard to metric.
It's an insidious plot I tell you. :weird:

I'm not sure exactly how you meant that comment to be taken.....
Personally, I have no qualms with switching to metric. It's a much better measuring system when it comes down to conversion.

Well, it really is. The only problem is that it would not be a very convienent or inexpensive change, which is probably why it hasn't been made yet. I hold nothing again standard measurements, though, and I didn't mean to imply that I did.

Now that I've been forced to use the 24 hour clock on a daily basis [military], I can never go back! Screw the 12 hour clock! Talking to Americans/Canadians that have no idea what time 2100 is keeps me from using this way of telling time ALL the time. It's really convienent when talking to my friend in Sweden... that's about the only use I have for 24 hour time as nobody I know outside the military has a clue. :)
Well maybe my father, a Marine veteran.. we'll talk to each other using the 24-hour clock. I hate having to specify AM or PM
;)
