I used to work on a childrenswear department. When I started there clothes in the 7-14 age range for girls included a sequinned boob tube, a fake leather skirt and jacket and black boots. At least one set of parents let their child (around 9yrs old) pick that combination as an outfit while whispering to each other that it made her look like a prostitute. We also had some wonderbra-style lightly padded bras.
No-one seemed to agree with my concerns about how inappropriate this was- apparently little girls like to dress like their older sisters.

Not at all. Girls without pubic hair are the only persons who should wear thongs actually.
