It's not so much that I care whether Miley Cyrus' career is made or broken on this thing or that the dance is even good, it's that it's incredibly obnoxious that a) anyone thinks that dance is racy enough to get upset about and b) that anyone would suggest that dance is something that marks a move to a more mature audience.
Please. She doesn't even spin AROUND the damn pole. If you went to a strip club and got that dance would you be satisfied or would you think you had just walked into Baby Bear's First Strip Club? Exactly.
It's even possible that we have regressed about this sort of thing which is stupid and lame. Miley's butt-wiggling is certainly no worse than the stuff Britney Spears was doing ten years ago when she was 17. (exhibit (
