It's a gamefaqs thing, I thought someone would notice it. They rate anything, but usually with words on a scale of ten, and with a sarcastic tone. example 1/10, win/10, old/10.

Nice photo.
I like snow in the dark midnight.

how can these photos be fake
nobody in their right mind would try and fake a photograph of snow
maybe a kraken fighting a polar bear but not snow

I have not experienced a Canadian snowfall as of yet. There is a dusting of snow on the mountains here however.
Kraken...*goes to google.

Does
this look like Gamefaqs to you?

I'm heading back over to Canada in less than a month now, so I can't wait, my parents have said it's already been snowing for about a fortnight over in BC, but rain and sun keeps on ruining their efforts. I personally think one of the greatest things about a big snowfall overnight is the morning, especially the first run down a hill, because it is almost completely silent, a very cool feeling indeed.

Beautiful shots, Aja. The sky in your second shot is something I've always wanted to capture, but it snows so rarely down here I never get the chance.

Most digicams take "noisy" images in low light, but I've found that an inexpensive tripod really helps things out. Using a SLR with slow B+W film can also net you some pretty decent nighttime images.
Tripods help with motion blur, but the noise is usually attributed to your ISO and aperture settings. When I'm taking nighttime shots with my semi decent camera, I never go above ISO 100. Anything above that smears the picture with thousands of red and blue dots.

It's... full of stars.

Wow! That's truly beautiful!
Photography is something I want to get into, when I get some spare cash lying around. Might be able to get some good snow shots around here with all the mountains if we get good snow this winter.
