Frankly, I think Nintendo should step up and purchase September Games for $2 billion next. I think it would be a very strategic investment and provide a lot of value to their portfolio.

1.5 years later and the BS about the ActiBlizz/MS merger is pretty much a done deal. FTC's attempts to appeal were rejected. Soyny has folded and signed a deal with MS. Only hold out left is UK.
When this was announced in early 2022 I was happy for the possibility of CoD SP campaigns being in Game Pass and seeing talented studios like Toys for Bob and Raven Software being extracted from the CoD coal mines. But this shit has dragged on so long, clogging up the news cycle that I don't even care any more. If anything all of these AAA companies consolidating is good, it speeds up the market crashing. The non-independent side of the industry needs a great reset.
