Due to his unfortunate death. Michael Jackson's dates have been cancelled. They were Thomas aged 6 and Kevin aged 9

Man made some damn good music in his day and now he is dead which ultimately, is sad.
It is not however, necessary for Radio One to have spent the morning playing the man's tracks interspersed with Coldplay. It is not necesary to join a facebook support group, rush amazon.com as though they're suddenly going to stop making Micheal Jackson CDs or even for it to be on the news since every single fucking person I have spoken to this morning has told me this fucking man is dead.
If Elton John pops up later in the day to sing Candle In the Wind President Ahmadinejad has my full support for driving over to Elton's house in a fucking tank and mashing his collection of dubious hair pieces into the croquet lawn.
Public displays of melodramatic grief for celebrity = Fail
Mellow Greetings, Internauts! Be well.

No! It's tasteless mocking a barely dead person, especially if it's a great artist like him.
Yes. Welcome to the internet.

This definitively isn't funny
Everyone dies.
I hated his music. And am surprised to see so much support for that crap here
But some lives are very sad, heartbreakingly so, and I've always felt deeply sorry for the poor crazy fuck
(despite being very dubious of any man having young boys in his bedroom.)
But death is a certainty and I like humour

I'm all for poor taste jokes, I'd just rather they were actually funny.

Such thoughts have uncomfortable connotations for me today... It's this crazy summer period when more accidents happen. Airbus mysteriously crashes. Heavy rains cause floods in Central Europe, ruining homes and lives. More celebrities and known socialites die around the same time... I expect an earthquake somewhere soon.
And this morning I leave my house for work and I see small gathering of people near the next entrance. Something like a covered body is on the pavement. Later my mother called me from home to inform me that police and TV reporters have arrived below our windows. It was some young girl who had only her grandmom and nobody else. Commited suicide by jumping out of Lord knows what floor. I have to watch TV news this evening.
Death always lurks so fucking close to us.

Which is why living should be made all the more interesting. People take the fun out of dying now a days.

All and all, it was a good career move.
