'the fuck?
I goto bed early last night and THIS happens??
The whole 50-show thing was a stupid idea and clearly it got to him; he should have just done a weekend of gigs and thats that.
I'll be listening to the History albums later today then..

I just listened to the HIStory album(CD2, the new stuff, that is) for the first time. I was under the impression that all his post 80s stuff was supposed to be crap but I dunno, a lot of good stuff here. At least the angry, frustrated songs like Scream, They don't care about us and D.S. And, sue me, but I really like Earth Song, it sent shivers down my spine when I saw it on MTV as a kid, and it's still good. Even if it's a bit corny.
Are there any decent songs on his post-HIStory albums worth checking out?

I was too young to be touched by him when he was culturally relevant, I guess.
That's utter nonsense. If you've heard an MJ song as a kid in the 80s, you've been automatically touched by him. There was no escape.
The Way You Make Me Feel... You Really Turn Me On...Thriller, Bad and Dangerous have firm place in my discography. I had HIStory, but it came out at the time when my musical taste was already on another course and it just didn't cut it anymore for me, so I sold it.
You were a nutcase, Jacko, but a cute one. Hopefully you find some heavenly Disneyland.

Due to the high plastic content, Michael Jackson is not going to be cremated. Instead he is going to be recycled and turned into Lego bricks. That way the kids can play with him for a change.
What's the difference between Sir Alex Ferguson and Michael Jackson? Ferguson will be playing Giggs in August.
Michael Jackson hasn't been this stiff since McCauely Culkin came to stay for the weekend.
Michael Jackson has died, reports say he had a heart attack after falling over a baby's pram, but doctors say it's too early to blame in on the buggie.
What's Michael Jackson got in common with a dildo? Everything. They both come in different colours, and are both plastic, cold and stiff.
If you had concert tickets for the Michael Jackson gigs this year, don't worry, the plastic surgeon has enough bits left over to make another one.
Michael Jackson's body was found last night in a Children's ward. It is thought he died whilst having a stroke.

When I was a kid, Michael Jackson was pretty much bigger than the Beatles. He never seemed altogether real, though - to me he was of a kind with Mickey Mouse or some other cartoon figure. Seems weird that he's dead now.
Thriller is one of my fondest memories of the '80s.

This definitively isn't funny

That was -- besides the uncomfortably awful pun alluding to pedophilia -- my point. I was too busy running around playing to pay much attention to the radio when he was relevant, and when I did listen to music I was usually stealing my brother's Guns n' Roses and Mötley Crue albums. The first time he entered into my conciousness properly was with Black or White, and by then grunge was already taking over the spotlight.

No! It's tasteless mocking a barely dead person, especially if it's a great artist like him.

Have you not heard the cause of death?
He choked on some 12 year old nuts.
