Well I never was much of a fan when he was on top, but in retrospect he sure made some great songs: Beat it, Billie Jean, Dirty Diana, Smooth criminal,... Too bad he seemed unable to live like a sane human being. Something was seriously fucked up about that guy, but as a singer/songwriter he had a couple home runs. RIP wacko.

Michael Jackson (well his music) was a huge influence on me, and his music can be pretty much heard in every pop and r&b track. Regardless what sort of crazy nutcase he was or whatever, I salute you.
