At least the women on the block have stopped crying and carrying on. As long as you don't mention it, of course.
Lucky you, the weekend has been prolonged by one day where I am apparently and they're still at it. I just wish some of them had bad sound systems so I wouldn't hear the same songs playing over and over and over and over again at night.

I just don't understand why people have to mock Michael Jackson after his departure. This is horrible and disgusting.
If it were Bush I could agree, but Jackson.... :nono:
So it's okay for the double-standard since you don't like Bush?

Yeah, I hear ya. Seems like every house & aptmt. in this neighborhood has SuperBass and speaker volumes turned up to 12. It's gonna get worse again the day of the funeral, mark my words.
Since I never paid attention to most of the tabloids about MJ I wasn't aware that he had such a serious drug problem. So I was kind of surprised when I read the article where the former nanny for his kids stated that she had to pump his stomach on regular basis. In his case I'd say the outcome was inevitable.

Quoted for truth. I don't necessarily care for Michael Jackson (though he does have his moments as far as music is concerned). I find the jokes funny, to be honest. I think Bush was an okay president. I still laugh every time I think of Whoopi Goldberg's comment: "He can say 'Condoleezza,' why can't he say 'nuclear?!'" If you're willing to dish it out to those you don't like, you have to be willing to take it for those you do like.

Agreed. Either everyone is on the list, or there should be no poking-fun at anyone at all (and what a boring, blanched, banal world it would be). One can't pick and choose the moral high-ground based upon personal feelings.
That's Nuk-U-Lair, btw.

If your goal is the complete nullification of the efficacy of your opinion well then today is your lucky day!

Deciding morals upon personal feelings has always served us well.

There's a rumour going around that Jordan Chandler (from the 1993 case) is admitting to lying about the abuse. It's mostly unsubstantiated right now but if it turns out to be true it could shed a very different light on things.
