http://i44.tinypic.com/6f9k3o.jpgCan anyone tell me what these panels on the ground in Yantar are supposed to be? I can't find a good screenshot, but in-game they just look like flat metal rectangles sitting on the ground. The way that they're arranged around the valley rim (on the right) make me think they're supposed to be reflectors of some sort, but I can't think of what they would be for in real life.

No they are not reflectors or anything important, they're just plates for pavement ;) Probably laid there to prevent erosion. The Kaimanov's emitter is below the ground in Yantar.

What 242 said, it's not metal, it's concrete.

Kinda wondered about that too, theyre about the same spots the shores of the lake prolly used to be. For boats? Someone thought "Hey some concrete slates would look nice there"? :cheeky:

I'm about 98.59% sure they're laid to prevent erosion.

Is this Clear Sky? I didn't even know you could get around the back of the complex.

If you've got a high enough PSI resistance, you can wander round the back from the lower left. Nothing round there, though. The area looks poorly finished as if you're not actually meant to get there.

There's actually a stealth loading zone if you go around to that bit, it's the other side of the red forest transition. I think it gets you to a point you're not meant to get to in the garbage, where there's another loading zone which takes you outside the barbed wire in agropom. I guess they were for testing purposes, or else just never taken out.
