Merry Politicallycorrectmas!
Hah, did they try and rename it "Winterval" where you are as well?
//And I'm jealous of you lot and yer fancy food. It's going to be something bloody basic in my place -- the cooker's bust where I'm going.

No Christmas over here in Canada for a little while yet, but it will be a white one. I have a bottle of Adelaide Hills riesling and a Malborough Pinot Noir waiting around for the big day, which, combined with a family recipe ham that is insanely good, and a shitload of snow (I've been watching it fall all day) should make for a very good day. First tracks down the skihill on X-mas day is not a bad way to go.

I've got some good white wine squirrelled away for today too. Have a good one everyone!
Traditional Christmas eating fare in Australia, if you haven't guessed, is seafood and lots of it!

ROAR, I'm pissed, but for some reason I can spell properly. I'm kind of saving myself up for tomorrow night where the second wave begins. Wish my liver good luck until next year. :erg:
Merry Christmas, etc.
Love from Neb.

I'm stuffed as a Christmas goose, so much good food I hardly remember what any of it was but there was seconds on a dish of potato cubes, cheese, bacon and chicken in a sauce of ranch and sour cream that put me over the limit. Lots of rough housing with the boys and spinning the girls dizzy. Even the standoffish nephew hugged me bye which was the most touching for me. Giving him that Ben 10 game and knowing about the cartoon from evenings with my grandson paid off.
I held my daughter as I did when she was little and we watched her favorite Christmas special. Dit even brought his new girlfriend by for an evening of old stories that still make us laugh. Faithful friends gather near to us. Just now I'm worn down and doctoring my bum knee with a Glenlivet knightcap. Tomorrow I teach my granddaughter to whack a mole.
I'm stupid sappy for Christmas. A merry one to my extended family here. Time to nuzzle the wife and see what else she will put up with from me today. Bless us every blessed one.
