Another rainy Christmas in the Mid-West. Oh yay.
Discovered that whenever I start feeling particularly Scrooge-ish round the holidays, all I have to do is look into the eyes of a child and all the warm-fuzzies come back again.
So a Mushy and Maudlin Merry Christmas to all!
Lack of snow be damned.

Yeah it's been raining here a lot lately as well. Tropical Christmas is the norm for me though, never even seen snow. It's not Christmas without palm trees covered in lights.

I'm jewish you bastards, where was the hanukkah thread?:grr: But, regardless, merry christmas to ye all.

Hanukkah is a proper religious festival, christmas is not. It's just another way for marketing directors to get you to part with your money.
That's why it's so popular worldwide.
The power of advertising.

Season's Greetings & Happy Holidays to All!
Hopefully that is non-specific enough include everyone, but not to offend anyone of any religious persuasion or lack thereof.
Katy doesn't feel very Christmasy either. But, New Orleans had snow for Christmas only once in the 36 years I lived there, oddly enough the last Christmas I spent in N.O. I guess I ought to be used to it by now. It's at least festive with all the houses decorated with lights.

Happy Holidays!
It sure doesn't feel like Christmas for some reason, maybe it's the lack of snow. Of course, the frost has finally covered the ground for the last two days. Can anyone figure out how to make a snowman from frost?
*Waves to cute baby Natalie*
