Well I managed to get the cat inside before the mayhem started, I was giving him Churu to keep him calm, and I kept him inside until 3AM when the noises of crackers died down, I admit expected harder resistance, but as soon as the cracks started on top of our heads, the cat dashed inside the house, and I took the chance to lock down the door, possible escape avoided.
