This is probably a really dumb question, I have the map installed but had plans today so was about to leave but did a quick run around, is the connection from South Quarter to Stonemarket always going to be a teleport or is some kind of tunnel or something ever going to be built?
I ran around for 10 minutes going down into the tomb and peoples houses and stuff, didn't quite make it to Orlands window. Didn't experience any bugs. I realized I forgot to turn the 100 fps framelimit on so I was running around at 300+ fps the whole time with zero issues.

I was in Stonemarket going back to South Quarter on Day 8 and ran into Five Guys......

its looks like right when the hag is going to go full nuclear in the city as you run to each sigil, they are going to be pure fodder so you can escape :P
i remember myself one part of city i seen x5 mage guys and girls trying to take on the hag in beast form and hag just wrecked them so i was able get away

Hopefully both the remaining teleporter connections will eventually be replaced, with the SQ to SM one being an extension of Stonemarket.

But probably not lockpicking or climbing ladders then?

Argh - maybe I'm not done yet. :( Do you have a savegame?
Having NPCs spawn in groups and/or many identical ones is an original issue but that does look abnormal.
Thanks for testing!

Nope I did not lockpick or climb ladders I just ran around for 10 minute, I did NOT save my game but what I did was play Day 8 with the pagans vs the hammers for maximum action. Then I ran around the map down into the crypt where you find the map for the cradle then ran all the way back to stonemarket and watched/triggered a huge battle between guards, hammers, and pagans. A guard chased me and I got him to swing and hit a hammer caster then they all turned on him and killed him. I ran down the hall back to go back to South Quarter and that is where I ran into the 5 NPCs, right in front of them is the portal to South Quarter and I am standing in Stone Market in the screenshot.

Thanks - I'll see if I can get something similar to happen.

I'm able to reproduce the quintuplet issue, and also explain it... @Svperstar, can you confirm that when you met the gang-of-five, that was the first time you had entered Stonemarket Plaza?
To reproduce it, just start day 8, run to Stonemarket Proper and enter -Plaza by left-strafing while looking directly east. Continue until you reach the middle of the road, then run over to check. Edit: This assumes 16:9 aspect and default FOV settings.
What happens is this: In Stonemarket Plaza on day 8, a max of five civilians will spawn. There are no city-type civilians placed in the map by the designer, so when you enter the first time, five will spawn dynamically. They will not spawn within Garrett's view cone even if there's something obstructing the view. There are also some restrictions on distance that I haven't figured out.
When you enter as described the only spawn points that are outside the view cone are two which are close together and on the road to the South Quarter gate. So they'll spawn there. And on day 8, there are only two types of civilian available: the stout guy and a posh lady. (You'll get a mix but hitting five-of-a-kind happened to me too.) Of course, it doesn't have to happen exactly like this - you may just have looked in the 'right' direction at the time that they were about to spawn.
So it looks like it's not a bug. It may not even be a problem, because when playing the game for real you'll have been to Stonemarket Plaza before and civilians will exist already when you enter on day 8.
But two take-aways: 1) this test map is probably not very useful :) and 2) the City spawning should really be improved, if nothing else then by adding more archetypes for greater variety.

Yes that was my first time in Plaza. I couldn't tell you what direction I was facing but I play at 1440p. I don't recall messing with the FOV.
I was just running around throwing mines and gas bombs and seeing how big a battle I could cause
