Seriously though, I wouldn't like to see any kind of member ranks here. It would encourage people to do anything to raise their post count and make that the most important thing there is.
No one's better than someone else on an Internet discussion forum.

The SA forums don't have member ranks at all, just custom avatars and titles. And all the fun and hijinks that ensue when you can buy them for other forumers. Particularly ones you don't like.
