hey i am doing merunes razor quest and i dont know where to find that dagger i went to the alas tomb but i dont know where it is i also searched other places around that area to find it but so far nothing does anyone know how to do this quest if so plz post thanks

There are a lot better daggers out there!
The black hands dagger for one...
I'd recomend getting your hands on the daedric tanto / daedric 'wazi-what-do-you-call-it' which are already better and then enchant them with an even better enchantment.
Once you get one of these weapons you'll only use merune's razor when you need some ash yams chopping... ;)

That Razor is pretty good when starting. Black hands sword? That you get from the necromancer guy? I have it, but it isn't anything special in my opinion... Unless you are thinking of something else.
The Wazi.. I just got my hands on it and I fell in love.
Question: What other good short blade weapons (already enchanted) in the world are there?

LOL the Black Hands Dagger is MUCH better than the sword your thinking of but as forsythe has said you have to do quite a few quests for the morag tong to get it...
The razor is good when your starting out but last time i assumed somone was new to the game i got my 'head bitten' off' by an angry guy who believed i was patronising him... :erg:
The black Hand's stats are as follows -
9 - 20 (chop, slash, and thrust)
Condition 1000/1000
Weight 9.0
Value: 15000
Cast When Strike
Absorb Health 10 to 25 pts for 30 seconds (30 seconds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :o )
Blind 10 to 50% for 30 seconds
Charge 2550/2550
As you can see you only need to hit them once... perfect for hit and run attacks.
Possibly one of the best short blades is Keening which has similar weight and attacks as the black hand (sorry i can't be bothered to type them out) and has the following constat effect enchantment - fortify magicka 50pts, fortify health 30pts, fortify attack 30pts, fortify agility 20pts, fortify speed 20pts.

Well then relay to me how to get that black hand. I am a knower or master in the morog tong. I have been gathering up all the sanguine items on my own time isntead of doing more writs. ( I want that spell ) But that dagger sounds royally cool :)

heh well i have had the game about 4 days now fighters guild master,mage guild evoker heh skills not high enough to go to the next thing.... umm lords mail, dragonbone cuirass,daedric greaves,ebony boots and pauldrens,boots of blinding speed,umbra hehehe love that thing,gloves of randagulf ummm anyone know of something better than these gloves? like 4 full sets of glass and ebony lol..... anyways yeah im a newb tho i dont know anything about this game and i havent done the main quest yet but i did get healed of corprus. oh yeah and the cuirass of saviors hide.

If memory serves (and I'm pretty sure it does, in this case), you get the Black Hands Dagger after you successfully do all of Eno's 'special' jobs.

I got this link off the board. Well I was getting these islands and I raided Al Sotha it looked like it had a lot. Well when I returned to the Morag Tong guy and he had a chat option "Al Sotha" So I was like "uh oh" I clicked on it, and he said "oh you already killed the queen mother" and gave me the black hands blade.
Ironic too considering I asked for how to get it but got it five minutes later ;)
