I'm one of those people who are still interested in playing games but don't have much time for it anymore. Depending on what's going on I might visit TTLG once every day or two, or just once a month. At that pace I find it difficult to follow megathreads like NWAYP. It seems like every time I see something of interest the discussion has already moved past it. So I appreciate it when people start individual threads for games that potentially interest the TTLG audience. Sometimes that's the only way I hear about a game.
I also don't see anything wrong with short threads.
