A bit ironic, given your username.

Good lord man have ye no soul?
The_Raven on 14/10/2008 at 21:51
I don't mean any offense, though I'd understand given the way it is worded. The name seems a little odd in that light, so I was wondering if there was anything behind it.
Also, there's no such thing as a soul. Bit of a silly question, really.

My father shot his head clean off as the inoperable (in 1976) brain tumor he had was fucking w/him so bad. After 30 years I can't figure out if he was brave or a coward.
When you're in the same position as him - ask yourself.

I know, I was being a little ironic. I don't believe in a soul either. Still, I would not personally go so far as to make light of someones fathers suicide, regardless.

Like dental X-Rays and shit?
No, like the over CTing because of the super ghey litigation culture out there. And the fact that you can be charged $$$s for it. Plain Xrays, in general, don't give too much radiation but there are people who head into cancer territory because they have 50+ chest xrays a year.
Whatever they say push for that MRI AR. Better to know fo sho.

So let me get this straight, if it's not pituitary adenoma they'll essentially just say "LOL WE DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS LET'S PUMP HIM FULL OF THE STUFF HE SHOULD BE PUMPING HIMSELF FULL OFF NATURALLY"?
I thought medicine was over that.

I thought people were over not being able to read.

Yeah that would be great- always being tired, getting thin hair, breaking fingernails and coarse skin, eating an apple and instantly putting on 2 kilo weight ... just be hypo. :D
Diagnosing some complicated or hidden physical problems (or if you're lucky, two or three problems interfering with each other) may take some time, sometimes years.
Not curing at least some really annoying (and treatable) symptoms in the meantime would be denial of assistance in my opinion.
Get well, AR.

Not pleasant news. Keeping fingers crossed for you AR. :(
And once you get cured... you'll be a New Man. :)
