Usually a glass of milk eases me to sleep. Now it's making me puke.

Good luck AR and Carini. Hope you're both fine, and you could be.

Not necessarily dude. They often get better once the endocrine system is rebooted. And nice pics. Love the haircut btw. Quifftastic!

Dude, my grandfather had that haircut.
Also, I'd just like to say that I could walk into a hospital tonight and have an MRI within an hour.
USA ftw!

A CT too, probably. In the US you seem to be able to get all manner of unnecessary tests, but that doesn't mean it's a good thing. A significant (read - measurable) proportion of cancers in the US are caused by over-scan radiation.
Besides, one would assume that in Canada one can get whatever scan one
needs when one needs it.
i want i want i want shut up

alright if you queers can tear yourself away from my tits and ass for a good heterosexual minute i gots me an update
I saw the endocrinologist today and he went through my symptoms and previous blood work. He says he's not ready to rule out a pituitary adenoma- it's a definite possibility- but he wants more blood work done before he can say for sure. He rasied the issue of me having high levels of something called a sex binding hormone that interferes with my testosterone levels and was not tested for originally and something called bioavaliable testosterone which I have no idea what the fuck. There are some other things he wanted to test which weren't on the original blood tests so I'm getting blood drawn tomorrow and he tells me to follow up next week, so I get to do more waiting!
He says if the pituitary hormones come back low again then it's fukken MRI time up in this bitch but if they've normalized it'll be a tossup between testosterone therapy and anti-depressants
OH YES
He's trying to tell me this can all be caused by just depression which is total patent bullshit and I told him as much because a) I'm not depressed and b) it doesn't do this shit. Should he balk and try to get me on anti-depressants my other doctor said he's getting me in the MRI tube come hell or high water
So tldr for yall
* It may be a tumour or,
* It may be an as of yet untested other hormone missed in the original blood tests
* More testing necessary
* Should know by next Wednesday/Thursday when they get blood results

This smacked me like a brick in the face. My father shot his head clean off as the inoperable (in 1976) brain tumor he had was fucking w/him so bad. After 30 years I can't figure out if he was brave or a coward.
