Yeah you can only hope that his god takes it's most devout followers first. He's waiting for you with open arms, Qooper! Better catch that bus.

The only thing that God did that was unfair, was when he died on the cross. It was unfair to Him, but He chose to die for us so that we may have eternal life with Him. There is no greater act of love than that; that's how much He loves you.
Wow, just, wow. This better be a very good work of dry humor, otherwise... :nono:
If you are indeed serious, then let me add this. I may only be a heretic atheist, but even I know that Christians don't consider God and Jesus to be the same entity. Also, doesn't God admit to being the source of all good
and evil in the world in Revelations?

At least you had the sense to go to the doctor, AR, and not start a thread along the lines of "Hay guys I have brain tumour??"
Break a leg.

Qooper just wanted to give a word of confort based on his beliefs.
By the way: Christians believe in the Holy Trinity. The Father , the Son and the Holy Spirit. They consider them different aspects of the same God.
The jehovah´s witnesses and other unitarian christianic religions refuse the belief of the Holy Trinity, saying that God is unique and that Jesus is his son but not God itself.

Fact is, wether we are just dust in the wind, or children of God, we are always special in the eyes of one another. We give meaning for ourselves and each other.
AR Master I hope everything works out.

If it's of any help, my ex-father-in-law had a brain tumour that was successfully removed. And he was fine.

If they don't consider Jesus to be God, then they disagree with the Bible. But I can assure you this isn't the case. At least all the born-again Christians I've met consider God to be a tri-unity. That is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. And like I said, believing otherwise doesn't get any support from the Bible. Genesis 1:26 says: "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness" Who is God talking to here? He says "Let us make" and "in our image". He can't be talking to the angels, because they can't create, and man was not created in God's and the angels' images. God is talking in all three persons here.
Also, John chapter one begins with the words: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." And in verse 14 it says: "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." John speaks of Jesus here. Jesus is God's Word, and He came among us to fulfil the Law. He came among us so that we could see what God is like. Jesus never ever replied with a nasty comment. He never showed disrespect towards anyone. He never behaved in a mean manner, even though he was constantly hated and his situation was worse than ours (He knew the exact day He would die on the cross). Worries tend to make us complain and say bad things to one another, but Jesus didn't do that.
Well, I'm glad that at least one person was smart enough to post something in a civilized manner. I think it's good that you guys are honest, but I see no reason to throw insults and whatnot just because we're on the Internet and anonymous. I don't have a problem with the fact that most of you disagree with me. I don't expect anyone to agree with me. But it would be so much more constructive if you were to write your own thoughts in a non-hostile manner. And if the truth is that some of you sincerely want to insult others, instead of sincerely wanting good for them, then it makes me sad. At least it's not too late for you to see how wrong you are in doing so.
I wish you all the best. And AR, if you don't object, I'd like to pray for you.

But of course, its so logical!

I know you have the best of intentions, but I think you are totally fagging up this thread which is exactly what AR doesn't need right now (unless the rage these posts are likely to give him helps him through, not really sure how it works with him).
Best of luck AR, keep us updated if you have the chance.

Good luck to both AR and Carini; I'll be thinking about both of you. God, life gets so scary so unexpectedly sometimes, doesn't it? Hang in there!

Best of luck AR. No doubt you will pull through and have many healthy conquests and misadventures to come.
