Well that's good, in a relatively-speaking sort of way.
I hope you also got the satisfaction of the doctor telling you it's not a tumor in that German accent of his...

I bet it turns out that you should have just added more bran to your diet all along.

Good that it's not a tumor, but bad that they don't know WTF. Not knowing what's wrong is worse than knowing it's bad. Hopefully, they'll figure something out soon so you can get your mojo back.

OH SHIT IT IS A TUMOR
fuck!
I saw the doctor today and he had the final conclusive report on my MRI. It said ( i have a copy of it here) that all findings seem normal, unremarkable except that findings coupled with hormonal tests point to a "Pituitary microprolactinoma" which a regular MRI cannot pick up
Which means I now get to have a second, CONTRAST ENHANCED XXXTREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEME MRI *GUITAR SOLO* FUCK YESSSSS to find where this fuck is
ALSO
pulled out of my file was a 2 and a half year old blood test conducted in a different clinic that measured, among other things, testosterone and prolactin levels O:
it had been taken and then forgotten about but it found that my testosterone was high normal (top 88th percentile versus now, bottom 31st) and my prolactin was like 6 times the normal limit for males. For all intents and purposes, I should be breastfeeding septuplets
wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
SO now I've got 1) proof for this other endo that my testosterone is significantly different and maybe get some therapy 2) to wait for this new MRI which they said probably won't be until next year some time, 3) to see a new endocrinologist referred to me by my family doctor who, apparently, if this new guy says I have fucking lupus then I FUCKING HAVE LUPUS that's just how good he is
But right now I have 3 different doctors and an MRI tech saying that something is definitely affecting the prolactin cells in my antierior pituitary and it is most likely a microadenoma, a very very tiny little dot of FUCK that is FUCKING MY SHIT STRAIGHT UP and just won't fucking RELENT so I need to wait FUCKING MONTHS AND MONTHS MORE before anything, ANY FUCKING THING happens because nobody wants to give me anything to help my symptoms until they get around to taking pictures of my brain, assuming by then they don't just have to take polariods of it off the bedroom WALL FUCK
ok
so long story short they've narrowed it down to a microtumour, big enough to be a problem but small enough to evade imaging and in the interm while they set up another round of tests I get to wait with my thumb up my ass and really big boobs.
also here is a comic i drew before hand expecting to be prescribed testosterone gel but i wasnt but in the interests of making this a happy fun place here it is any way

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who has a double-chin thing going on my third elbow.

I guess if you got to have a tumor a small one is the kind to have. Shitfuck comes to mind as a response but I suppose that doesnt help. My ptuitary is probably worn the hell out by now so you don't need it and I'm not rubbing any cream on your wiener and besides I'm a country away and drunk. If drinking more helps I'm on it though.
They are going to fix this. Not as soon as you want but soon relative to the formation of sandstone and then you can terrorize the debutante ball till your hearts content. I'm serious. It's going to happen. And you wont send me a damn picture of it. You bastard.

Don't panic! At least they've figured out what it is. If it's small, it's been detected early and that's always good. From a brief googling it looks like overall prognoses are good, and there are even treatment options besides surgery. Just take it easy, continue on with your life, do all the reading you can about it and stay strong.

Well dude your luck is that is it a very small tumor and they caught it now.
So you can get healed like now dammit.
And not after you can't get your penis erected unless you seat on a carrot or something more meaty and realistically penile shaped.
:nono:

I can't believe those idiots didn't use contrast the first time. I would think that if they suspected a tumor they would have used it to reveal everything. Idiots!!
Anyway, it's small. Hopefully, it IS operable so that you can get back to normal. Best of luck!
