Does anyone know what that locked door that whizzes past as you go up to Maggie's apt. is for? I've never been able to find a way to get to it from an alternate route, and as far as I know you can't stop the elevator.

The whizzing is from the wall lasers at the bottom of the MJ12 stairs in Maggie Chow's apartment.

Yeah, I was pretty sure that you could come out of it, just not get INTO it.
