...but does Stalker have an open ending? I mean after you finish the main quest, are you still allowed to wander around the zone? I have been told there are endings where [spoiler] you die, like being turned to stone [/spoiler] but isn't there any way that you could be let to move around the zone as you please? I'd certainly like that :cheeky:

The game has several closed endings at the moment and there's going to be a patch that allows free roaming soon.

That particular ending is a false ending. With true ending you can't return back to Pripyat and so on but at least you can explore NPP area without time limit (additional map with lots of enemies).
