"Towards the end of the filming of Postal the five most outspoken critics will be flown into Vancouver and supplied with hotel rooms," read Boll's press release. "As a guest of Uwe Boll they will be given the chance to be an extra/stand-in in Postal and have the opportunity to put on boxing gloves and enter a BOXING RING [emphasis in the original] to fight Uwe Boll. Each critic will have the opportunity to bring down Uwe in a 10-bout match. There will be five matches planned over the last two days of the movie. Certain scenes from these boxing matches will become part of the Postal movie. All five fights will be televised on the Internet and will be covered by international press."
:weird: :tsktsk:  :laff: I have never seen any of his films, and have nothing against him really, but god he's an idiot, or this is an elaborate publicity stunt (though even if this is indeed a publicity stunt, he's still an idiot)

Of course all the scenes with him getting smacked by the critics, will be cut out of the final movie, leaving him as the supreme victor.:bored:

This reminds me of the time that my Uncle Eddie, in his capacity as Mayor of Liverpool, challenged Jason Isaacs to an arm-wrestling bout over the latter's controversial and thinly-veiled portrayal of the former's predecessor, Banastre Tarleton, in The Patriot (don't ask...)

Uwe Boll. Merely mentioning this infamous Hollywood director's name blows shockwaves of contempt through the angsty Internet nerd community, vicious piranhas swarming from the murky waste of IRC and the depressing depths of blogs to denounce their undying hatred of this small German man. How could so many independent, individual groups loathe one individual with such infectious vitriol? Simple: Uwe Boll is destroying the childhoods and fond gaming memories of Internet nerds across the country with each and every cinematic bastardization he produces. Having torn through "House of the Dead," "Alone in the Dark," and "Bloodrayne" like a diseased-ravaged wolf, gamers are declaring an electronic jihad against this enigmatic director for defiling their favorite high quality games that tackle such pressing, real world issues as "zombies that try to kill you" and "vampires who try to kill Nazis."

What's wrong with the trailer? I think the movie looks like it could be fun, and that Transporter guy is in it, so that's a plus.
