I need help again please.
Now I'm a retainer in House Telvanni...running errands for Master Aryon of Tel Vos. He wants me to bring him a Daedra skin. I have 3 scamp skins, but when I talk to him he doesn't take them, just tells me again that he wants a daedra skin.
Scamps are daedra aren't they? I haven't met any other daedra that you can get skin off of. :confused:

Sorry, scamps aren't daedra... You can get a daedra skin from the alchemist near the telvanni counsel house in Sadrith Mora...

Still, I could have sworn I read in a book that scamps were a lesser daedra. What are they then? They hang around with atronachs and such, which I thought were also lesser daedra.

Scamps are Daedra, at least according to the Construction Set. They are the least of the lesser daedra. Scamp Skin is the special ingredient associated with them. The ingredient Daedra Skin is, as far as I know, not available from the corpses of Daedra. You can only purchase it from alchemists.

I think you can get it off Deadroths, the guys with alligator-like heads. They're pictured in one of the loading screens.

I've found one bit of daedra skin off a corpse, but I'm afraid I can't remember what sort of daedra it was, quite prob a daedroth as said above. But as I said I've only found one bit and have killed lots and lots of daedra of all kinds (as I'm sure many people have) is prob just a really really rare item?

Yes okay Scamps are technically Daedra, the point is Scamp skin ain't the same thing as Daedra skin...
And I reckon I've only ever naturally found 1 or 2 pieces... I think you folks are right in saying you get them from Daedroth, kind of makes sense... make yourself a nice Daedroth handbag or boots or something...
Anyways, go the alchemist, it stocks ingredients needed for some of the other Telvanni quests also.
And, on a side note, watch out for the Telvanni Arch-Magister bug. Check up on it thoroughly. I thought I knew what it was about, but didn't read too much 'cos I didn't want to cheat. Ends up that I didn't get the whole picture, got caught by the bug and got stuck. Decided to go back to an old save, unfortunately VERY old, lost about 18 hours of game play... which for me is a precious thing. Set me back a good couple of weeks. :(

Telvanni arch-magister bug? This does not sound good. What is this? Does it stop you becoming arch magister or something?

I am trying to be named Hortator of the Telvanni house, and a Mouth told me to go see master Aryon, but I can't find him, all the people in Tel Vos say levitate up and look for a door facing south. I can't find him.

He is a bit tricky to find - firstly make sure you're in TEL Vos not just plain old Vos (is slightly further in from the coast). Go outside of all the buildings and be somewhere near the central tower - the only access is from the outside. Fly up around the outside of the central tower and you'll see that it has a mushroom top - on one of the sides will be a landing pad with a round door, like other Telvanni places. If you come at ti from the wrong side it can be a bit hard to spot - just fly around the mushroomy bit until you find it.
