oooohhh... i still cant believe that i've written all the items i use... please feel free to delete or shorten it...:)
and...ender8567, there is one more thing about why we can't advance to be a magister... i think the reason is:
if aryon says, you are foresworn to be a magister, or arch- magister or whatever, just check your skills... because if u still seem to be master, it can be because one of your magic skills (destruction, illusion, etc) must be over 80 to become a magister... when u become a magister, u go and kill gothren, and become the archmagister... yeay it must be like hat...:thumb: and don't kill aryon... he is a nice guy...the only normal person in house telvanni...(and u'll need him of course)

I'm thinking about joining House Telvanni... as soon as I get the pieces of Daedric Armor I'm gonna go with my plan and kill everyone then proclaim myself Arch-Magister, or anything else I want. ... King Ryushi. Heh. I demand respect, food, all the women in Sadrith Mora and um... a monkey.

although i'm on PC, i still have the problem...:grr: i've just killed gothren, and aryon still repeats the same thing... "u have foresworn the rank of magister" and nothing else... i now have the skill points that is required to be magister but he still just can't (stop drinking skooma for a minute and) make me the arch-magister or magister... if he makes me magister i will automatically become arch-magister as gothren is dust...
:mad: i don't mind anymore... i feel like the archmagister... and became the arch-mage in the guild...
anyway... if someone knows the solution of that arch-magister problem, please help me and ender1234...:(

Since you're on PC, just enter in the console commands I specified earlier and see if that works.

He gave me a second chance at some point. Told me I couldnt be, blah, blah, but that he would give me a second chance. Did you do all of his quests?

u don't have an option like skipping a quest and continue the next...so... if u have done the last, that means u've finished all... but yes!!! there seems to be something missing... he just cant declare us the magister... he just says he is going to...
i think i have to use that patch... but i'm sorry for u ender9384... but what difference does it make to raise to magister or not? u cant go any further...right?... so there is no use... except the feeling:erm:
